    Hi Aimee
Am planning a 3 week trip to BC – flying in and out of Vancouver in July. It’s a family holiday – just wondering would you still advise the road trip you have described – sounds amazing, and the mystery hotel deals when traveling as a party of 5 (needing 2 rooms)?
I think your honeymoon destination is a fantastic choice – we honeymooned in Kenya some years ago – still the most amazing trip we ever did and we still talk about it!!

Yes, we definitely recommend this trip it’s quite an easy drive but if you plan to go in Winter you will need to be prepared with snow tyres etc. There are lots of places to stop too to break up the journey. With the Mystery Hotel deals you can book more than one room. We are very excited for our honeymoon – it will be a once-in-a-lifetime trip for sure. Let me know if you have any more questions.

It was pouring rain outside so couldn’t get much better then Cake, a bathrobe and a nice comfy bed. Glad to hear your successes on the mystery deals too.

Great advise! I wish I had known about this last summer when we stayed two nights in Seattle. But this summer, I’m going to be looking for places to stay in two separate trips to Chicago. Thanks for sharing!

Love getting discounted hotel stays – and you’re right, they’d rather have a full hotel than empty rooms.

Awesome tips! I’ll be definitely trying this out on my next trip. I like staying in hostels, but it’s definitely something I need a break from. Hotels can seem so luxurious after staying in hostel rooms haha.

I had heard about the Mistery Hotel’s cheap fares, but never thought about how could we find out the hotel names! Tha’s a cool hack, to search for it in Trip Advisor! Tatiana – EfZin – https://www.efzin.co

I’m definitely going to try this one out in Switzerland!
The prices of the hotels and even hostels are just incredibly expensive.
    Thanks for the tip:)

Good info. I’ve always been a little wary about websites like Priceline, so thanks for the detailed info. Especially since you can sometimes get 4 star properties. Love the Westin St. Francis.

We was wondering if we should or not but then we decided to go with not saying, Prices change so often its more about the fact that these deals defently have saved us money.

I do this all the time!! To me, a hotel is a hotel and being there is more important than where you stay. I don’t really care where I lay my head at night, I just care that I’m close to where I want to be and the mystery deals let you choose the general area. Totally worth it!

I love mystery hotels and Priceline bidding too! We got Westin Maui for 165/nt a few years ago and Fairmont Whistler for 148/nt last year!

Thats sounds pretty sweet and a great deal. I have come across those, but I have never dared to book one. I guess I’m too much of a control freak and like picking out the hotels myself.
